The Tinley Park Convention Center, 18501 S. Harlem Avenue, is the Chicago Southland's largest multi-purpose meeting and convention facility, with over 40,000 sq. ft. of contiguous exhibit space and room for 192 10' x 10' exhibit booths.
A 202-room Holiday Inn Hotel is connected to the Tinley Park Convention Center, and six additional limited-service properties are in close proximity to the convention center/hotel complex. NEW! Convention Center Expansion!
The Tinley Park Convention Center will undergo a major expansion to be completed by mid-2011.
The expansion will include 22,000 sq. ft. of additional clear-span exhibit space, bringing the total to approximately 58,200 sq. ft. of clear span exhibit space, and an addit ional 7,100 sq. ft. of divisible meeting space.
Twenty-plus breakout rooms are planned as part of the Tinley Park Convention Center expansion project, plus a warming/serving kitchen, expanded convention storage, and loading docks. Lighting throughout the convention center exhibition area will be upgraded, and the entire facility will be Wi-Fi capable.
Another 450 parking spaces will be added to the property for both the convention center and hotel, bringing the total number of free parking spaces to 1,400.
